Obituary for Emma Kaziah Waldron
Emma Kaziah Waldron, of Turners Falls, MA died Friday December 22, 2017 at her home at the age of 90.
She was born April 5, 1927 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of the late Albert Alexander and Sarah (nee Fisher) Miller. She attended Logan School in Pittsburgh. She had worked at Fisher-Price in East Aurora, on the Assembly Line at Motorola in Arcade - retiring from there in 1988 and as a House Mother at the Niagara St. Children's Home. She was a member of the Franklinville Presbyterian Church, the Franklinville VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Home Bureau of which she served as Secretary.
She is survived by her son - Frank Charles (Robin) Waldron of Turners Falls, MA; granddaughter - Nicole (Craig Hoffmaster) Waldron of Shavers Creek, PA; a great-grandchild -Aiden.
She was preceded in death by her father - Albert Alexander Miller (d. 1931); her mother - Sarah Miller Hartsough (d. 1966); former husband - Gordon Lyle Waldron; life companion - Robert M. Lapp; sons - Albert Edgar Miller (d. 1949) and Gordon Lyle Waldron II (d. 1950); sister - Ethel Miller (d. 1935) and brother - William "Buck" Herman (d. 2003).
Friends may call Friday December 29, 2017 from 11 am - 1 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade, where funeral services will follow at 1 pm. Burial will be in Eagle Cemetery, Bliss.
