E. Gwyneth  Jaquish
E. Gwyneth Jaquish, of Liberty St., Arcade, died Sunday December 24, 2017 at her home at the age of 87.

She was born November 13, 1930 to Erman O. and Lulu Etta (nee Quick) Richmond of Allentown, NY, granddaughter of John & Ada Quick of Wellsville, NY. She was a graduate of Scio Central School, Scio, NY; Westbrook Commercial Academy, Olean, NY; New York Institute of Photography, New York, NY; attended Alfred University as a psychology major and received a real estate diploma from Bryant and Stratton.

She is past president of Arcade Pre-School & Arcade Intermediate study groups, a PTA board member, past member and past Matron of the Arcade Eastern Stars, current member of the Mt. Vernon Lodge Eastern Star in Java; Ailaimsi; Daughters of the Nile; Knights Templar Auxiliary; Allegany chapter of American Guild of Organists; New York State Professional Photographers Society; Professional Photographers of America; Buffalo Music Teachers Society and a former member of the Arcade Rebekah Lodge.

She had owned and operated Jaquish Liberty Portrait Studio since 1956 in Arcade with her husband & family & Wellsville. She taught many years private organ, piano and voice lessons and had been organist in Arcade, Delevan, Machias, Springville and Wellsville Methodist churches. She was employed with Sarah Coventry many years and also sold Avon products. She was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Springville and was a current member of St. Matthias Episcopal Church, East Aurora.

She is survived by her husband - Ronald Jaquish whom she married January 12, 1950 in Franklinville; children - Mark (Joyce) Jaquish of Chaffee, Connie (Lee) Massie of Akron, OH, Bonnie (Curt) Etzel of Colden, Brenda (Mark) Dziamski of Carlsbad, NM, Rene Hall of Mount Rushmore, SD, Sheryl Northrup of Yorkshire, Kristina (Jerry) Warner of Alden, Amy (Neal) Slocum of Machias, Dan (Sue) Jaquish of Monroe, NC, Kathy Heppner of Freedom, Jon Jaquish of Kennedy, NY; 29 grandchildren - Sally Sue Jaquish, Abbey (James) Holland, Carrie (John) Wagner, Graham Etzel, Deanna (Jeff) Whitmore, Waylon (Sara) Pastorius, Brandy (Ed Pfarner) Wheeler, Mark Dziamski, Amy Dziamski, Mitch Hall, Hillary (Coral) Ledford, Alex (Tim) Morley, Amanda (Gary) Grandits, Gunner Northrup, Chad Northrup, Laura Barber, Becky Klink, Anthony Almeter, Andrea (Ryan) Almeter, Alyssa (Rick) Almeter, Aaron John Paul Almeter, Shantell (Zane) Osgood, Sabrina Slocum, Brittanee (Shawn) Jaquish, Joseph Heppner, Kasondra Heppner, Katrina Heppner, Jared Heppner, Brooke Jaquish; 18 great-grandchildren - Jamie, Clayton, Knox, Adam, Jake, Kyren, Zavien, Haley, Kayla, Karolyn, Caitlin, Lincoln, Cloe, Courtney, Adeline, Jacoby, Geoffrey, Evan; a brother - William (Deloris) Richmond of Florida; a sister - Elaine Moss of Copley, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters - Jane Jaquish and Ronafae Pastorius; a brother - Paul Richmond; three sons-in-law - Shawn Slocum, William Wheeler, Doug Northrup and two brothers-in-law - Keith Carlson and Lloyd Moss.

Friends may call Tuesday January 2, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade. Funeral services will be held Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 1 pm in St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora, NY 14052. Burial will be in Stannards Cemetery, Wellsville.
