Robert D. Church of Creek Rd., Springville died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 84.
He was born July 21, 1933 in Carlton, NY a son of the late Robert H. and Glendora M. (nee Dean) Church. He was a United States Air Force Korean War veteran and served from 1953-1957. He also attended the First United Methodist Church in Springville and was an outdoor sports activist. He formerly ran the Teen Shooting Academy (TSA) throughout Western New York.
He graduated from Lyndonville High School in 1952 and attended the Brown Institue of Broadcasting and Electronics in Minneapolis, MN.
He was the owner of ARC Power Systems in Springville for 23 years.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years: Amy R. (nee Everts) Church whom he married September 18, 1955 in Lyndonville; his children: Phillip Scott (Bonnie) Church of Williston, SC, Stephen Church of Lockport and Beckie (Jeffrey) Ramsey of Flowery Branch, GA; his brother: Stanley (Lorrie) Church of Albuquerque, NM; also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter: DeAnne Reukauf and his brother - John Church.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
